Ghanaian artist Maddy Maznaz, also known as Magdalene Narh Combarieu, is gaining attention with her latest release, “Ooje Mi Aloo?”, a culturally rooted record that celebrates resilience, individuality, and self-expression.
The single, “Ooje Mi Aloo?”, translates to “Are You Insulting Me?” in the Ga dialect. Drawing from the bold and uncompromising spirit associated with the Ga people, the song delivers an empowering message encouraging listeners to embrace who they are and remain confident in the face of societal expectations.
Maznaz is signed to Bentley Records and is also featured on Prestige Music’s Celebrity Edition, an ambitious compilation built around high-profile collaborations across contemporary hip-hop and pop.
The project brings together an extensive lineup of international artists, including Rick Ross, Future, Lil Wayne, The Game, Sean Kingston, Rich The Kid, Bow Wow, Kurupt, Dizzy Wright, Lucadayz, Morgenshten, Jackie’s Boy, and Ayoo KD, among others.
