Kojo Funds is back with a new visual for his latest single, ‘Long Time’, giving fans another look into his new EP HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN.
Opening the project, ‘Long Time’ rides on a smooth R&B bounce as Kojo Funds reflects on the people, relationships and moments that have remained important throughout his journey. The song carries a warm sense of appreciation, with the East London artist turning his attention towards the value of having loved ones around, even during periods when life may feel uncertain or incomplete.

Recent single ‘How Many’ brings bright Dancehall and Afrobeat energy, while ‘Ready’ leans into smoother R&B textures and heavy bass. Elsewhere, ‘With You’ continues the EP’s feel-good approach, while ‘Problems’ brings back the Afroswing flavour that has long been associated with Kojo Funds. The project closes with ‘I Need’, a bass-driven Afrobeat track built with the energy of a club anthem.
The release arrives nearly a decade after Kojo Funds first made his mark in 2016 with a run of singles that quickly established him as one of the key figures in the rise of Afroswing. Among them was the street favourite ‘Dun Talkin’ featuring Abra Cadabra, which became one of the defining records of the movement.
He followed that early success with more major collaborations and hits, including ‘Check’ with RAYE and ‘Finders Keepers’ with Mabel. His growing influence also earned him multiple MOBO Award nominations, including recognition for Best Newcomer and Best Song.
In 2018, Kojo released his debut album Golden Boy, further cementing his position within the UK music scene. The project helped strengthen his reputation as one of the leading figures behind Afroswing, with Kojo subsequently being described as its King, Godfather and Pioneer.
