Amsterdam-raised producer and DJ FS Green joins forces with Reek0 and Eljé on “Good Day,” a feel-good record built around slowing down, letting go of pressure and appreciating the small moments that make life worth enjoying.
The track arrives with a warm sense of optimism, capturing the feeling of brighter days and late summer evenings. Rather than overcomplicating its message, “Good Day” encourages listeners to pause for a moment and appreciate where they are, even when everything does not necessarily go according to plan.
The song began during a studio session in London between FS Green and Reek0. After continuing the work in Amsterdam, FS Green felt that something was still missing from the record. Remembering a previous collaboration between Reek0 and Eljé, he invited her to contribute, and her voice ultimately became the final piece needed to complete the track.
That collaborative process is reflected in the finished record. “Good Day” brings together the creative perspectives of all three artists while maintaining an easy-going energy that matches its message. The song feels designed for those moments when the pressure fades, and there is room to simply enjoy the atmosphere.
For FS Green, the release continues a musical journey shaped by the multicultural environment of Amsterdam. Growing up in the city played an important role in developing his production and DJ style, while his work has continued to move freely between Hip-Hop, electronic music, Afrobeat, Dancehall and House.
His ability to cross genres has helped establish him as a versatile producer and DJ, with collaborations involving artists such as Major Lazer, Shakka, Murda and Cookin Soul. His music has also travelled far beyond Amsterdam, finding its way onto dance floors around the world.
FS Green has built a reputation for catchy yet refined production and a strong ability to connect with audiences through his performances. His tracks and remixes have received club support from DJs including Jyoty, Diplo, DJ Snake and Skin On Skin, further extending the reach of his sound.
“Good Day” adds another dimension to that catalogue by focusing on a simpler kind of energy. Instead of chasing intensity, the song creates space for reflection, relaxation and appreciation. Its message is especially relatable in a world where it can be easy to become consumed by pressure and forget to enjoy the smaller things.
The collaboration with Reek0 and Eljé makes the record feel like a natural meeting of different creative voices, with Eljé’s contribution completing an idea that began in one city and was finished in another.
With “Good Day,” FS Green, Reek0 and Eljé offer a reminder to take things as they come, enjoy the moment and recognise that even imperfect days can still contain something worth appreciating. It is a bright, easy-going addition to FS Green’s growing catalogue and another example of his ability to bring different sounds and artists together.
