International pop artist Shery M returns with “Bubblin,” an infectious Afro-Moombahton and dancehall-inspired single that marks a joyful new chapter in her artistic journey. Released on July 31, 2026, the energetic record is her first pure party anthem, trading stories of survival for celebration while embracing freedom, movement, and self-expression.
Written alongside acclaimed Japanese songwriter Kanata Okajima and produced by Máté Ádám Mógor, “Bubblin” was born during the very first day of the Artisjus Songbook Camp 2025 in Budapest. Three songwriters who had never met before walked into a room together and, by the end of the day, had created a song that immediately brought an entire room of fellow writers to their feet during the camp’s listening session.
Built on infectious Afro-Moombahton rhythms, dancehall grooves, and polished global pop production, “Bubblin” is driven by an irresistible chorus and vibrant percussion designed for dancefloors, festivals, and summer playlists. Rather than telling a story of hardship, the single celebrates the freedom to simply enjoy life.
For Shery M, however, the record carries far deeper meaning.
Her previous English-language releases, “Goin’ Gone,” “It’s Possible,” and “Limitless,” formed a trilogy documenting her personal journey from escaping persecution in Iran to rebuilding her life abroad. “Bubblin” represents what comes after survival.
“For years, celebration was something unreal. Many expected my story to end with survival, so I wrote the celebration instead,” says Shery M.
The collaboration also marked the beginning of a creative partnership that has continued well beyond the songwriting camp. A year after creating “Bubblin,” Shery M reunited with Kanata Okajima to write “Limitless,” further strengthening the artistic chemistry first discovered during that unforgettable session.
“We didn’t write a song that day. We felt the vibe, and the song came with it,” she adds.
To support DJs and remix culture, “Bubblin” is available in multiple formats, including a Radio Edit, Extended Mix, Instrumental, and Acapella, with stems available to selected collaborators for official remixes.
Born Shahrzad Mohammadi in Tehran, Shery M is widely recognized as one of the most-streamed Persian-language pop artists of the past decade and is often referred to as “The Persian Urban Queen.” After launching her music career in Iran’s underground scene, increasing restrictions on female performers forced her to leave the country in 2016. She rebuilt her life and career in Vienna, where she has continued to evolve as an artist.
