Ghanaian dancer and digital creator Lisa Quama has officially launched her United States tour with a sold-out dance class in New York City, marking another major milestone in her growing international career and expanding influence as one of Africa’s leading dance creators.

Hosted at Ripley Grier Studios in collaboration with DWP Academy USA, the sold-out session brought together dancers of all skill levels, creators, and Afrobeats enthusiasts for an immersive celebration of movement, culture, and community. Among those in attendance were fellow creators, including Liya Dances, alongside fans eager to learn from one of Ghana’s most recognized dance talents.

During the class, participants learned choreography directly from Lisa while experiencing the energy, creativity, and cultural expression that have helped her build a global audience of more than seven million followers across social media platforms.

The New York event follows Lisa’s recent international engagements with FIFA and Coca-Cola during the recently concluded Football World Cup, further highlighting her growing presence at major global cultural moments.

The success of the sold-out class reflects the increasing worldwide demand for African dance and the continued rise of Afrobeats culture on the global stage. Through her choreography, digital content, and storytelling, Lisa Quama has become a powerful ambassador for African creativity, using dance as a way to connect communities across borders.

“This class was incredibly special for me,” said Lisa Quama. “To see that many people come together to celebrate dance and African culture in a new city is something I’ll always be grateful for. This is only the beginning.”

Known for her dynamic choreography and engaging online presence, Lisa has built a reputation for making African dance more accessible to global audiences while inspiring a new generation of dancers and creators.

The New York class marks the beginning of a wider U.S. tour that will see Lisa bring her dance experiences to more communities across the country. Upcoming stops include Philadelphia, Florida, and the DMV area, alongside additional community events designed to give fans and dancers the opportunity to experience African dance culture firsthand.

As she continues to expand her global footprint, Lisa Quama remains committed to showcasing the creativity, rhythm, and cultural richness of Africa through movement—bringing people together one dance step at a time.
