Ghanaian media professional and digital creator Citizen Kafui has been appointed Media Relations Manager for EMY Africa, adding a new responsibility to his growing career in media, public relations, communications and brand management.
The appointment will see him lead the organisation’s media engagements and publicity rollout, supporting efforts to strengthen its visibility and celebrate distinguished personalities, business leaders and individuals making meaningful contributions to society.
Citizen Kafui brings experience across several major media organisations, including GBC, Light TV, Citi FM, Channel One TV, 4Syte TV and entertainment and lifestyle platform GhanaWeekend. His work across these outlets has contributed to his experience in media production, publicity, storytelling and audience engagement.
His appointment also builds on his growing involvement in public relations and entertainment, where he works across media, music and brand development. He currently serves as Media Relations Manager for Ghanaian singer Gyakie, supporting the artiste’s publicity activities and media engagements.
Taking on the role at EMY Africa further expands his professional portfolio, placing him at the intersection of communications and a platform focused on recognising excellence and achievement. The position will involve helping shape the brand’s media engagement and ensuring its activities and initiatives reach relevant audiences.
