After a season dedicated to academic growth, personal development and leadership, acclaimed rapper and recording artist Bouqui returns to her first love: music. The artist makes her long-awaited comeback with “Farabale,” the first single from her upcoming album Take Your Hands Off, scheduled for release on March 13.

“Farabale,” a Yoruba expression meaning “calm down” or “take it easy,” blends Afro-fusion rhythms with Bouqui’s distinctive hip-hop delivery. The track carries a message of faith, surrender and trusting God in the midst of life’s pressures, encouraging listeners to release the need for control and embrace a deeper sense of spiritual confidence.

Bouqui’s return follows a period of significant academic and personal growth. During her time away from the spotlight, she earned a PhD in Branding and Advertising and pursued studies in Leadership at Harvard Business School, Psychology at Yale University, and Understanding Arguments at Duke University, alongside other academic pursuits.

Now based in the United States, Bouqui returns with renewed clarity and purpose while continuing her work in youth mentorship and leadership development. Her upcoming album, Take Your Hands Off, explores themes of faith, surrender, resilience and spiritual confidence, introducing a new chapter in her artistic journey.

With “Farabale,” Bouqui bridges hip-hop, African rhythms and inspirational storytelling, reintroducing her distinctive voice to a new generation while remaining rooted in the faith-driven message that has shaped her artistry.
