Ghanaian artist 09scary is back with his latest release, “WHAT ARE WE,” continuing to carve out his own space within Accra’s growing music scene.
Born Romeo Odame, the 24-year-old artist has built his identity around music that draws directly from his experiences. Betrayal, relentless hustle, social anxiety and the ambition to take his sound beyond Ghana all find their way into his music, giving his records a raw and unfiltered quality.
“WHAT ARE WE” adds another chapter to that story, with 09scary bringing the same honesty and intensity that have become central to his artistry. Rather than being confined to a single sound, he moves comfortably between Afrobeats, Hip-Hop and R&B, allowing each release to reflect a different side of his personality and musical instincts.
