Ghanaian content creators and philanthropists Nana Mitch and Schardo Mitch, popularly known as the Mitch Brothers, have been named winners of the Philanthropy and Charity category at the 10th anniversary edition of the Forty Under 40 Awards Ghana.
The awards ceremony took place at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra on Saturday, September 12, bringing together some of Ghana’s most notable young professionals, entrepreneurs and leaders.
The Mitch Brothers were recognised for their humanitarian work through Smile4mation, a nonprofit foundation focused on empowering women, nurturing children and supporting vulnerable families.
Through their work with the foundation, the brothers have particularly championed initiatives aimed at supporting women and single mothers working to overcome poverty, using community service, charity and social impact programmes to create opportunities for people in need.
The recognition marks another milestone for the duo, whose influence has continued to extend beyond content creation into philanthropy and community development.
“We’re deeply grateful to be among this year’s winners,” the brothers said. “For us, philanthropy has never been about recognition, but about using what we have to make a real difference in people’s lives.”
They added that the award would serve as motivation to continue their work through Smile4mation while expressing appreciation to those who have supported their mission.

The brothers were represented at the awards ceremony by Francis “Banks” Amissah, Founder and CEO of Elite PR, who also celebrated the recognition.
According to Banks, representing clients whose work makes a meaningful difference is particularly rewarding, describing the brothers’ work with women and children as something worth celebrating.
“It’s always a joy to represent clients who build things worth celebrating. Seeing the twins recognized for their work with women and children was rewarding,” he said.
He further highlighted the growing reach of Smile4mation, noting that the foundation has gained attention online while also carrying out its humanitarian work in communities.
Founded in 2025, Smile4mation is built around the belief that everyone deserves dignity and opportunity. The nonprofit foundation focuses on humanitarian outreach, empowerment initiatives and community development, with a particular emphasis on women, children and vulnerable families.
