Amos K Announces First Headline Show in Four Years with ‘AMOS K LIVE’

Ghanaian rapper and producer Amos K is set to return to the headline stage for the first time in four years with AMOS K LIVE, scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Vibrate Space in Shiashie, Accra. Organised in collaboration with Backstage Africa, the event will bring together fans who have supported his independent journey and recent musical growth.

The show marks an important milestone for Amos K, whose last headline performance took place during his time at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Since then, the rapper has continued to develop his sound, release new music and build a stronger connection with listeners through online engagement and live appearances.

Reflecting on the long-awaited return, Amos K said, “The last time I did a headline show was four years ago, back when I was in KNUST. We are long overdue for another one. This is for the family. Come and let’s go crazy.”

The announcement follows a productive year for the artist, marked by new releases, viral moments and growing recognition within Ghana’s music scene. His music has increasingly reached listeners beyond his immediate audience, with social media playing an important role in bringing his records and collaborations to wider attention.

One of the key releases in this run has been “Peter Piper,” a track that gained traction online through its confident delivery and ambitious themes. Its reception helped set the stage for “Peter Piper II,” featuring Ghanaian rapper Leo Snow. After Leo contributed a verse that went viral, listeners called for the pair to make the collaboration official, turning online excitement into a completed release.

Amos K continued this approach with “Good Better Best,” a motivational record focused on ambition, persistence, and personal growth. The song’s open verse challenge invited listeners and fellow artists to engage with the track, eventually leading to “Good Better Best II,” featuring Fahim Dumba. The collaboration demonstrated how audience participation has become an increasingly important part of the rapper’s creative process.

Beyond his recorded music, Amos K has made several live appearances throughout the year, using performances to introduce his work to new listeners and strengthen his relationship with existing supporters. He has also received recognition from established figures in Ghanaian music, including a co-sign from rapper Ko-Jo Cue.

With AMOS K LIVE, the artist is now looking to translate that growing digital support into a shared live experience. Rather than simply presenting his catalogue on stage, the event is intended to celebrate the community that has contributed to his progress and supported his music along the way.

Admission to the show will be free, although attendees will need to register through an RSVP link. Merchandise giveaways and other surprises are also planned, adding to the event’s focus on giving back to the fans who have followed his journey.

For an independent artist who has spent years building his audience, returning to the headline stage after four years carries significance beyond the performance itself. It offers Amos K an opportunity to reflect on how far he has come, bring his supporters together, and create fresh momentum for the next stage of his career.

AMOS K LIVE takes place on November 7, 2026, at Vibrate Space in Shiashie, Accra, in collaboration with Backstage Africa.
