Newly independent French artist Aalllim announces the release of his latest single, “One More Time,”
Written in 2017, shortly after a painful breakup, “One More Time” was born out of feelings of regret and the desire to repair what Aalllim considered one of the biggest mistakes of his life.
“I wanted to fix what I considered one of my biggest mistakes. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out, and we never ended up getting back together. But ‘One More Time’ is the child that was born from our breakup.”
The song was recorded in Aalllim’s home studio in March 2026. Originally conceived as a pop song, Aalllim decided to incorporate African influences into the production as a way of celebrating his heritage and origins.
Born in Douala, Cameroon, Aalllim moved to France at the age of five. His musical journey began in 2009, during his boarding-school years, where he taught himself how to make beats using FL Studio.
He later recorded his first song, “On s’est fait la guerre,” featuring fellow independent French rapper La Spirale.
Today, Aalllim is building his career as an independent artist, blending his experiences, emotions, and African roots into his music.
A song for everyone who has loved
With “One More Time,” Aalllim hopes listeners will connect with the emotions behind the song.
“I know and I hope many people will resonate with this song because we’ve all been in love at least once in our lives. It’s an anthem for all lovers.”
