Ghanaian gospel collective Team Eternity Ghana (TEG) has announced the release of the first phase of its highly anticipated album, The Promise, a contemporary gospel project centred on hope, restoration, faith and the faithfulness of God.
The new project marks another chapter in the journey of one of Ghana’s recognised gospel music collectives, bringing together a contemporary sound designed to connect with listeners across generations, from Millennials and Gen Z to the emerging Gen Alpha audience.
More than an entertainment project, The Promise is built around a spiritual message of assurance. Through its songs, Team Eternity Ghana seeks to remind listeners of God’s faithfulness while offering encouragement to those navigating uncertainty, challenges, and seasons of waiting.
At the heart of the album are three foundational truths: His Presence, His Attention, and His Protection. These themes reflect the central message of the project: that God remains present with His people, hears their prayers, and continues to serve as their refuge and deliverer.
Musically, The Promise embraces contemporary gospel while maintaining the collective’s focus on creating music that can speak to different generations. The project brings together songs that explore hope, restoration, faith, and blessed assurance, creating a body of work intended to encourage listeners while strengthening their connection to their faith.
The release also arrives during an important year for Team Eternity Ghana, as the collective celebrates 13 years since its formation.
Over the course of its journey, TEG has released two albums and an EP, building a catalogue that has produced fan favourites including “Dede Defe,” “My Reason” and “Brass Band Medley.”
The collective’s work has also earned recognition within Ghana’s gospel and music industry. At the 2025 Ghana Praise Achievement Awards, Team Eternity Ghana received honours for Artist of the Year and Best Group of the Year. The group was also awarded Best Group of the Year at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
With The Promise, Team Eternity Ghana enters a new phase while remaining connected to the message that has guided the collective throughout its 13-year journey: God keeps His word.
The first phase of the album invites listeners in Ghana and around the world to experience a collection of songs centred on hope, restoration and assurance, while offering a reminder of the faithfulness that remains at the heart of Team Eternity Ghana’s music.
As TEG continues its journey, The Promise represents both a celebration of where the collective has been and a declaration of where its faith continues to lead it.
