Ghanaian rap heavyweight Sarkodie has officially announced the return of his celebrated Rapperholic concert series to Kumasi, with Rapperholic 26 scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The announcement was made on Monday as Sarkodie addressed his fans in the Ashanti Region, affectionately referring to Kumasi as Oseikrom.

“Oseikrom sorry for the wait !!! See yall 24th OCTOBER #RapperholicKumasi26,” he wrote.

The upcoming concert continues Sarkodie’s long-running Rapperholic tradition and follows last year’s successful Kumasi edition, which was presented under the title Rapperholic Homecoming. The 2025 event marked the first time the Rapperholic experience was staged in Kumasi, bringing the concert series closer to Sarkodie’s fans in the Ashanti Region.

That Homecoming edition featured a strong lineup of Ghanaian acts, including Kweku Flick, Shatta Wale, Medikal, Obrafuor, Kofi Kinaata, Donzy and members of the Asakaa Boys, giving the Kumasi audience a night that brought together different generations and sounds from Ghana’s music scene.

With Rapperholic 26, Sarkodie is now returning to the city for another major edition, reinforcing Kumasi’s growing place within the wider Rapperholic story.

The official announcement was accompanied by promotional artwork featuring Sarkodie against a black background, with bold yellow lettering spelling out “RAPPERHOLIC 26 SARKODIE.” The artwork confirms October 24, 2026 as the date, with Baba Yara Sports Stadium serving as the venue.

A promotional video released alongside the announcement further builds anticipation, featuring performance footage, energetic crowd moments from previous concerts and scenes of Sarkodie interacting with fans and traditional leaders before revealing the official Rapperholic 26 poster.

Over the years, Rapperholic has developed from a concert into one of Ghana’s most recognisable annual music events, giving Sarkodie a platform to celebrate his catalogue while bringing together major names from Ghana and across Africa.

The return to Kumasi is particularly significant following the introduction of Rapperholic Homecoming last year. With the 2026 edition now confirmed, fans in the Ashanti Region can once again expect the Rapperholic experience to make its way to Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Further details, including ticketing information and the full artist lineup, are expected to be announced through Sarkodie’s official channels and the event organisers in the coming weeks.
