Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY has set a new record on Spotify with her latest project. “BADDIES <3 MOLIY,” the 12-track mixtape released on July 31, 2026, has become the most streamed Ghanaian album in the platform’s history.
Streaming data shows the project quickly climbed past previous Ghanaian releases, reaching more than 500 million streams in its early days on the service. By early August 2026 it stood as the clear leader among all Ghanaian albums and projects tracked on Spotify.
The mixtape blends Afrobeats, dancehall, pop, reggaeton and electronic influences. It features collaborations with artists including South Africa’s Tyla, Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, Jamaica’s Skillibeng and Shenseea, Dominican artist Yailin la Más Viral, French-Congolese singer Theodora, Nigerian artist Mavo, UK-Ghanaian rapper Br3nya, and MOLIY’s sister Mellissa.
Tracks such as “JETSKI (FRIKI),” “BODY GO,” “PARTYGYAL” and the focus single “911 (CALL THE LAW)” have contributed to the project’s strong performance. The release follows the global success of MOLIY’s earlier hit “Shake It To The Max (FLY)” remix, which itself accumulated hundreds of millions of streams.
