After a year away from the spotlight, Belgian-Ghanaian duo B-Phace and Frimps Joe have returned with their new 14-track album, “MG4L,” a project built around friendship, ambition, faith, and the determination to turn a vision into reality.
The album is now available on all major streaming platforms worldwide, marking a new chapter for the two artists as they continue to build on their journey together.
“MG4L” opens with a message centered on movement and discipline rather than empty motivation. Throughout the project, B-Phace and Frimps Joe explore what it means to have faith in God, believe in yourself, and remain committed enough to keep moving when the road gets difficult.
With faith in Christ at its core, the album balances spirituality with the realities of everyday life. The duo reflects on ambition, responsibility, sacrifice, and the importance of continuing to show up even when there is no guarantee of success.
Songs such as “In My Mind,” “Newbeez,” “Holy Boyz,” “E45” and “Can I Live” help tell the story of two friends working toward something bigger. The destination might be visible, but “MG4L” emphasizes that reaching it requires patience, consistency, and difficult decisions.
“2026 is not a joke,” the duo emphasizes, capturing the focused mindset behind the project. The album follows a deliberate series of releases that began with “100 Burpees,” followed by “Game Plan,” “Revacofit” and “Good Life.” Each record offered another piece of the story before the complete vision arrived with “MG4L.”
More than simply the title of an album, “MG4L” stands for “My Gee for Life,” representing the bond between B-Phace and Frimps Joe and the loyalty that has kept their creative partnership moving through different seasons.
Musically, the project moves between energetic bounce and more reflective moments, blending Hip-Hop, Soul-rap and Boom bap with atmospheric production. Twi and English flow naturally throughout the album, bringing elements of Ghanaian storytelling into a sound shaped by the duo’s experiences and creative life in Belgium.
The lyrics remain grounded in real experiences, touching on the grind without a safety net, sobriety, faith over ego, family, responsibility, and the understanding that genuine relationships are built through consistency.
Frimps Joe brings a distinct lyrical identity influenced by his Ghanaian heritage. His career includes collaborations with artists such as Pappy Kojo and Philou Louzolo, while one of his early career highlights came in 2013 when he opened for Ciara.
B-Phace, also known as producer DaBeatbad, provides the production and sonic direction behind the project. His production credits include work involving Lil Skid, Power Be and Kwaku DMC.
Together, the pair have created an album that remains personal without sacrificing energy. “MG4L” is ultimately a record about staying committed to the process, protecting the vision, and understanding that major goals are built through small decisions made consistently over time.
For B-Phace and Frimps Joe, “MG4L” is about two friends staying the course, keeping their faith, and putting in the work.
