Ghanaian media personality Kojo Manuel has joined EIB Network’s Starr FM as the new host of its afternoon drive programme, Starr Drive, marking a new chapter in his broadcasting career.
Kojo Manuel will host the show from Monday to Friday between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, bringing his distinctive personality, energy and experience to the station’s programming lineup.
Known for his work across radio, television and entertainment, Kojo Manuel has built a reputation as an engaging presenter with a strong connection to Ghana’s youth and pop-culture audience. His style combines entertainment, lively conversations and audience engagement, making him a familiar voice within the country’s media landscape.
His appointment is expected to introduce a fresh dynamic to Starr Drive, with listeners able to tune in for a mix of music, entertainment, current affairs, conversations and interactive segments throughout the afternoon.
The move sees Kojo Manuel join one of Ghana’s established radio brands, where his experience in entertainment and broadcasting is expected to complement Starr FM’s blend of news, lifestyle content and engaging discussions.
His first day on the show also came with a special surprise. Ghanaian music star Camidoh stopped by the studio to welcome him, sharing a fun moment with the new host on air.
The surprise added a lively touch to Kojo Manuel’s debut, giving listeners an early glimpse of the energy and entertainment-driven approach he is bringing to the programme.
With his new role, Kojo Manuel is set to become a key voice in Starr FM’s afternoon lineup as the station looks to connect with listeners through music, topical discussions and audience interaction.
