Fast-rising Nigerian artist Kadoon has released her new single “Carry Me Go,” a heartfelt and melodic record that continues to highlight her growing presence as one of the most promising young voices in contemporary African music.
Born Kadoon Karen Bem in Vandiekya Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria, and born on June 25, 2007, Kadoon’s artistic journey began at an exceptionally young age. She developed a passion for dance at just three years old and later expanded her talents into acting and music, building a strong foundation as a multi-disciplinary performer.
Her early gift for dance earned her national recognition, and in 2014 she was selected by the Benue State Art Council to represent the state at the National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST) in Port Harcourt, an early milestone that cemented her reputation as a gifted performer.
Over the years, Kadoon has appeared in multiple music videos, showcasing her expressive dance style and on-screen presence. By the age of nine, she had already begun writing and composing her own songs, demonstrating a natural transition into music creation.
In 2023, she recorded professionally for the first time in Lagos, developing a growing catalog that includes notable songs such as “Only You.” The track helped introduce her sound to a wider audience and marked an important step in her recording career.
At just 16 years old, Kadoon signed with Trap Records Entertainment Ltd, officially launching her professional music journey. Her debut single “Only You,” released in February 2025, set the stage for her continued artistic growth.
Now, with “Carry Me Go,” Kadoon delivers a fresh and emotionally expressive record that reflects her evolving sound and artistic maturity.
