Independent reggae artist RastaDrumz returns with his latest single “Karma,” continuing a growing catalogue of original music rooted in reggae tradition while reaching towards a broader global sound.
A self-taught drummer and guitarist, RastaDrumz approaches reggae from the perspective of a musician who understands the importance of rhythm at its core. His music combines classic reggae grooves with influences from around the world, creating songs that are uplifting, conscious and deeply personal.
With “Karma,” that musical philosophy takes another step forward. The new single continues RastaDrumz’s commitment to creating original material while using reggae as a foundation for messages that connect on an emotional and human level. Rather than simply recreating familiar sounds, he uses the genre’s rhythmic language as a starting point for his own musical expression.

That willingness to experiment has also connected RastaDrumz with musicians and artists from different corners of the reggae world. He has had the opportunity to jam with the Frank Carrol Reggae Band, whose history includes work from former Bob Marley studio musician Frank Carroll, while also meeting reggae gospel acts Christafari and Jah Pickney during their Canada tour.
In early 2026, African reggae artist P.M. Quinns also reached out to RastaDrumz, adding another connection to an international reggae community that continues to recognise his developing work.
Yet the foundation remains simple. RastaDrumz is an independent musician creating original songs with a belief that reggae can still provide a powerful space for emotion, consciousness and human connection.
