Danish trio BONAD explore the intoxicating pull of desire on their latest single, “Wanna Fall,” a sleek and emotionally charged release about the moment attraction becomes impossible to ignore.
The song captures that restless space between curiosity and surrender, when the temptation to experience a deeper connection becomes stronger than the instinct to hold back. “Wanna Fall” leans into the thrill of wondering what it would feel like to get closer, to give in and discover where the attraction might lead.
There is something deliberately intimate about the record. Rather than treating romance as something perfectly composed, BONAD focuses on the uncertainty and anticipation that come with wanting someone. Based in Randers, Denmark, BONAD bring together Rachel, Mads and Thomas, three musicians whose different backgrounds have helped shape the group’s distinctive approach to electronic pop. Their musical histories span everything from Christian worship to metal, creating an interesting tension within a sound that balances atmosphere, melody and emotional intensity.
That identity has continued to develop since the group’s formation in 2019. Their debut EP Echoes arrived in 2025 in collaboration with Warner Music, while their single “When I Cry” received a premiere on Danish national radio station DR P3. Their catalogue has since expanded with releases including “Amelia” and “Beautiful Nightmare” featuring Ivorian rapper Miedjia.
“Wanna Fall” now adds another shade to BONAD’s growing sonic universe. Where some of their earlier material has explored emotional release and the difficulty of letting go, this new record turns its attention towards the attraction that comes before the fall: the anticipation, the temptation and the desire to find out what happens when you finally stop resisting.
The song has already begun finding its way onto international playlists, including Spotify’s Worldwide Millennial and Shopping Music 2026, while radio support has also placed it in rotation.
