Ghanaian content creator K_Sane represented the country at the TECNO Glory Night Awards in Morocco, joining digital creators from across Africa for a major celebration of creativity, influence and cultural storytelling.
K_Sane, whose real name is Sylvester Amponsah Boahen, was the only influencer selected from Ghana to participate in the event, placing him among a distinguished group of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) from more than 20 countries across the continent.
Jointly organized by TECNO, TikTok Live and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the TECNO Glory Night Awards celebrated African influencers whose creativity and digital storytelling continue to shape conversations and connect communities across the continent.
The event came as TECNO continued to build on its long-standing relationship with the Africa Cup of Nations. Following the brand’s elevation to Official Global Partner of AFCON, TECNO used the occasion to bring together leading digital voices from different African markets.
Central to the celebration was TECNO’s “Power Your Moment” campaign, which was launched during AFCON and inspired creators to highlight important moments through original digital content.
The campaign encouraged KOLs to tell stories around moments of achievement, emotion, personal experiences and cultural connection. The resulting content showcased the different ways African creators use their platforms to engage audiences and turn everyday experiences into memorable digital moments.
Against this backdrop, K_Sane’s selection gave Ghana a presence at an event that brought together some of the continent’s leading digital personalities. His participation also highlighted the growing recognition of Ghana’s influencer community within the wider African creator ecosystem.
The Morocco gathering featured influencers alongside AFCON football legends, media partners and TECNO executives, creating a unique meeting point between football, technology, entertainment and digital culture.
TECNO presented five major awards during the evening, with each honour designed to recognize a different aspect of creative excellence.
Among the categories was the Moment Excellence Award, which celebrated influencers who best expressed the emotional spirit of the “Power Your Moment” campaign. The award focused on creators who used compelling storytelling, authenticity, and meaningful narratives to establish strong connections with audiences across Africa.
For K_Sane, the event represented another international milestone in a career that began in 2023. Since entering the content creation space, he has developed a growing audience and built partnerships with brands across different sectors.
His portfolio includes collaborations with TECNO, Coca-Cola, Pepsodent, Telecel, Munchee, Guinness and other major brands, as well as work with food businesses and entertainment platforms.
He has also collaborated with Ghanaian artists including YPee, Gonaboy, O’Kenneth, OliveTheBoy and Kweku Smoke, further strengthening his connection with Ghana’s entertainment industry.
K_Sane’s presence at the TECNO Glory Night Awards comes as his digital profile continues to expand. His social media handle @k_sane1 has surpassed one million followers, giving him a significant platform for connecting with audiences and brands.
His selection as Ghana’s sole influencer for the Morocco event therefore represents more than an individual achievement. It is also a reflection of the increasing role Ghanaian digital creators are playing in major African campaigns and international brand activations.
